Spring knife Boker Plus type OTF (Out The Front) that is, with a blade that extends from the front as a result of the release of a tight spring.
The Clip Point profile blade was made from rustproof steel D2 characterized by high hardness and corrosion resistance. The blade was brought out with a high flat grind, received stonewash finish.
.
To extend the blade, simply push forward the slider located at the end of the handle. Moving the slider backwards will tighten the spring and close the knife.
The ergonomically contoured handle is made of matte aluminum 6061-T6 black anodized finish. The milled surface of the handle makes the grip secure even when the hand is wet or dirty.
.
There is a hole at the bottom of the handle through which a cord or lanyard can be threaded.
.
NOTE - contrary to 'urban legends' spring knives can be legally purchased, owned and carried. Polish law imposes no restrictions on the opening mechanisms of knives, just as there are no restrictions on the shape and length of the blade. Other countries may have laws restricting or prohibiting the carrying of knives of particular types - if you are traveling abroad with a knife, it is worth familiarizing yourself with them.
