The F-45 breathalyzer is equipped with a precision electrochemical sensor with a platinum sensor that reacts only to ethyl alcohol, so there is no possibility of falsifying the result with other substances or factors. The measurement range is between 0.00 ‰ and 4.00 ‰, with an accuracy of +/- 0.05 ‰ for 1.00 ‰ at 25 degrees C.
For correct operation, calibration is recommended every 6-12 months or every 500 measurements. The device remembers the last 10 measurement results.
The breathalyzer has a built-in alarm function, in case the permissible alcohol concentration of 0.20 ‰ is exceeded. The backlit and two-color LCD screen allows measurements to be taken even in low-light conditions and reports the test result to two decimal places.
The device's power source is two 1.5V AAA batteries. Thanks to an automatic power switch, the breathalyzer will automatically turn off after 20 seconds of inactivity or 30 seconds after taking a measurement. The breathalyzer will also automatically turn off in case of overheating, thanks to the temperature control module.
