The Bushnell Elite Tactical LRTS 3-12x44 SF G3 spotting scope features variable magnification and a large 44mm objective lens, which provides a bright and high-resolution image. This model uses G3 crosshairs in the foreground. It features a tubus 30 mm , allowing for a much greater range of adjustment with the turrets. The large zoom range means the scope's versatility in a variety of situations encountered during hunting, for example.

- First Focal Plane Reticle - the aiming crosshair in the foreground, which means that along with the multiplication factor of optical magnification, the aiming crosshair enlarges and the marks printed on it become more visible to help calculate shooting parameters. This is an almost indispensable tool especially for shooting at the longest distances.

- FMC (Fully MultiCoated): all air-to-glass boundaries have been multi-coated with anti-reflective coatings to minimize unwanted reflections and loss of light passing through the optics. In the Bushnell Elite Tactical scope, these include the company's Bushnell innovative Ultra Wide Band coatings, an individual coating on each lens that, in addition to minimizing light loss, ensures color fidelity across the visible spectrum.
- RainGuard® HD: a hydrophobic coating on the outer lenses that prevents water droplets from settling, making it easier to observe even in the rain. The technology also helps prevent condensation from our breath.

- Argon Purged: the scope's tubes have been filled with argon gas and sealed with O-rings, which prevents internal lens fogging and makes the scope resistant to rain, dust and temporary submersion.
