The AR-BDC4 MOA reticle is illuminated in red, with 12 levels of brightness adjustment to better adapt the sight to lighting conditions. The viewfinder's glass has been equipped with FMC (Fully Multi-Coated) anti-reflective coatings, which reduce glare and minimize the loss of light passing through the optic.
The sight's housing is made of duralumin anodized to a matte black color.
