The head with a profile drop point was made of 1.4116 steel, characterized by ease of sharpening and corrosion resistance. The blade is finished with PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coating. A notch on the back of the blade (so-called jimping) allows the thumb to rest securely while working with the tool.
